What actually happens to my photo?: It goes to the model that makes your video, and to our own storage while the job runs. We delete the result after 72 hours and we never put it anywhere public.
Why does it need permission?: Because the output is someone's face doing something they never did. That is fine when it is you, or someone who said yes. It is not fine otherwise, and we will not generate it.
Can I use a group photo?: No. The model needs one clear subject to work from, so a photo with several people in it produces a mess.
Is the video obviously AI?: Yes, and it should be. Every clip is labelled as AI generated when you download it. Passing one off as real footage is not what this is for.
